HALO 3 FORGES

HISTORY

Ahh, good old Halo 3 forges.
In late 2007 we met someone who had made many great maps using halo 3's "Forge" mode. While we were looking at one of the maps Meatwadshalberd made a sarcastic remark "Man dude, we should make a show off of you." At first we thought of it as a joke, but then I started to actually think about it. He had already shown us several great maps, that could hold us over for quite a few episodes, and we've been looking for something other than skit videos since our last series didn't work out so well ("GOS Award ceremonies"). Halo 3 Forges could be a good hit!

In late December we decided to try it, if it took off, great! If not, well then we might just stick with skits. On December 30th 2007, we released the first episode of Halo 3 forges, "The Gundam" we decided to put a basic tutorial of forges on our first video considering many people don't know some of the glitches of forge.
We quickly found that people loved the show. We were constantly given 5 star ratings, and great comments on our videos. It didn't take long before we realized that we could take this show far.

CRITICISM

CM-Xwing Film Relations
As some people have pointed out, "Halo 3 Forges" is a very similar show to "Halo 3 Tricks," which is why we put the disclaimer on the first episode stating that Game Over Studios is not affiliated with and does not intend to copy CM-Xwing films or the "Halo Tricks" show, as I stated before we created this show without influence from them. We have connected with the CM-Xwing films several times and we are mutual towards one another.
