GREETINGS FROM RIVERSIDE

We at Game Over Studios are proud to announce Greetings From Riverside!
A scripted Left 4 Dead Comedy machinima.

After playing this great game a couple of hundred times, it finally dawned on us how much potential for a machinima there was in this game. Several others have made Left 4 Dead machinima's in the past, but it is a rarity. Probably due to the fact of no theater mode in the xbox 360 version.

ITz Brujin, Dragon Munday, Mackynz, and myself were playing Left 4 dead one night and we began joking about several odd pieces of scenery. Such as stop lights in places where there wasn't an intersection, etc. When we began thinking of making a machinima out of this game. We spent a couple of weeks going through the campaigns, trying to figure out as many funny things to make out of it, and we ended up with a pretty long list. So we decided to begin pre-production for a scripted series on the game.

Making a Left 4 Dead machinima on the xbox 360 version of the game is no easy task. We have been spoiled with the theater mode on Halo 3 in the past, now we are back to live-action filming, similar to Halo 2 times. There are a lot of things we needed to cover up for the show to look presentable, and some of the things simply couldn't be hidden. While some of the gameplay elements had to stay on screen, we hope that we polished it up enough for the audience to enjoy. Time will tell.

The script was written by Kenburn (myself), but many of the ideas for specific jokes also came from the rest of the staff. Almost all of our staff will be featured in this show; Myself, Dragon Munday, ITz Brujin, Mackynz, and Wwolf655 have all been confirmed to make appearances in the show, and probably more will join in the future. We are also trying to attain permissions from a local band to use their music on the show, so hopefully this show will have a more entertaining tune to it.
